Noor Quran
Last updated: 19 July 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Noor Quran application (“the app”), developed by DevInspect (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Noor Quran is a free app for reading and listening to the Qur’an. Please use it respectfully and lawfully. Translations and recitations come from third-party sources and are provided for convenience — not as a substitute for study with qualified scholars or a printed Mushaf.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Noor Quran on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the terms of the app store from which you obtained the app.
Noor Quran presents the Qur’an in Arabic (KFGQPC Uthmanic Hafs script) together with translations and recitations from third-party sources, including:
We strive for accuracy, but translations are human interpretations and may contain errors or omissions. The app is a convenience for reading and listening and is not a substitute for study with qualified scholars or a printed Mushaf. For any matter of religious ruling, please consult knowledgeable scholars. If you notice an error in the text, please report it to us so we can review it.
Given the sacred nature of the content, you agree to use the app and its content respectfully. You may not use the app or its content to misrepresent, distort, or defame the Qur’an, nor for any unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purpose.
The app can download recitation audio for offline listening. Downloads consume storage on your device and, when downloading or streaming, use network bandwidth (including mobile data) for which you are solely responsible. Downloaded audio is provided for your personal, non-commercial listening only, and you may not redistribute it.
Recitation audio is retrieved from everyayah.com and is subject to its availability and terms. Certain features rely on your device’s platform (for example, sharing, ratings, and updates). We do not control, and are not responsible for, third-party services, their content, or their availability, and their use may be governed by their own terms.
The Qur’an is the sacred, revealed text of Islam. The app’s software, design, and original content are owned by DevInspect and protected by applicable laws. Third-party translations, recitations, and fonts remain the property of their respective owners and are used within the app under their permitted terms. Except as allowed by these Terms or by applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the app or its proprietary content.
You agree not to:
The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and the accuracy or completeness of translations or content. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that recitation audio will always be available.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevInspect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it (which is zero) or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the app at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which DevInspect operates, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
Note: set your specific governing jurisdiction here (for example, “the laws of [Country/State]”) before publishing.
